UCA Europe Research Office

Get assistance for a project

You have identified a call for projects that suits your idea and you want to be accompanied in the application and submission process? All researchers operating within the UCA ecosystem can benefit from tailor-made assistance depending on their needs and their management structure. For this, a procedure will be launched shortly via a simple online Project Development Assistance Form.

The procedure will be as follows:

The project leader fills in the form, so that our services may have an overall view of the project and offer personalized assistance. The form is automatically submitted to the Unit Director for validation and sent to the UCA Europe Research Office

The Steering Committee, made up of representatives of UCA members, studies the project and decides on the most appropriate assistance to be provided, among the three we propose as well as on the project lead institution

Once your projects has been studied by the Steering Committee, the project leader will be put in touch with one of the representatives of the Europe Research Office so that the assistance service may start. For example, if your project is a European project that is intended to be carried by the CNRS then you will be put in touch with a CNRS agent, while if it is an ANR project carried by UNS then you will be put in connection with an UNS agent

Pending the launch of this new procedure, simply send your requests to the following address: cellule.europe@univ-cotedazur.fr.

Get assistance for a project

Three type of assistance are proposed:

All Inclusive

After a first phase of diagnosis of your project as submitted to us, our team will propose improvements with regard to the evaluation criteria adopted by the funding institution.

In addition to the management of the administrative elements, the European Project Engineers will also accompany you in the structuring of your scientific project, the drafting of the non-scientific parts of your project (Implementation Plan, Impact, etc.) and in the financial aspects (budget).

In case of a coordination, the assistance could extend to the animation of the consortium and the identification of new partners.

Attention: to be able to benefit from this assistance, it is imperative to send your assistance request at least two months before the project submission deadline.

DIY (Do It Yourself)

This type of support allows researchers to build their project autonomously while receiving support from the University at the same time.

After having carefully read the Project Development Guide, the project leader will be able to rely on a toolbox created by the Europe Research Office team in order to meet the expectations of the funding institution.

Among these tools: self-evaluation grids, templates to be integrated directly into the project (example: GANTT Chart), a guide for developing the impact sections, etc.

The Europe Research Office will take care of the signature of the administrative documents related to the project submission. Trainings in project development will be proposed to guide you towards greater autonomy in project development

Think Ahead

Although very rare, this type of support will intervene in the case where the call for projects identified does not correspond to the project imagined by the project leader.

In this case, the Europe Research Office team will propose a meeting in order to identify new calls for projects more in line with the ambitions of the project presented.

Once the calls for projects identified, the project engineers will jointly design with the project leader, the best strategy for submitting the project.
