GREDEG is a research center in economics, law, and management jointly operated by the CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) and the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. GREDEG hosts researchers from CNRS and INRA and faculty members from SKEMA Business School and the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. It has nearly 115 permanent members as well as 115 PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. An important characteristic of the laboratory is to favor multidisciplinary approaches. Specifically, GREDEG's scientific activities combine economic, legal and managerial perspectives around a central theme dedicated to innovation and knowledge. This multidisciplinary approach in the social sciences is manifested by the fact that GREDEG is one of the founders Maison des Sciences de l’Homme et de la Société Sud-Est.
