Campus life in the technopole

At the heart of the French Riviera

Technopole of scientific knowledge and skills

Sophia Antipolis, an exceptional technology park situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains. Based on a concept inspired by American technology parks, it is well known for its excellent quality of life and stimulating environment.

In does the area abound in natural beauty for which the French Riviera is popular, but it also has a rich cultural and social life enriched by the diversity of its population. It includes parts of the towns of Antibes, Biot, Mougins, Valbonne and Vallauris and has almost one million inhabitants. All year round, a host of activities and water sports take place in this region, including sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing, kayaking, sea fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, and more.

Public transport provides access to the cities of Nice, Cannes, Monaco in less than 30 minutes ... and why not take a stroll through Italy less than 2 hours from us?

Sophia Antipolis is home to several higher education institutes and universities that have created a vibrant student community of over 5,000.

The SophiaTech campus makes it possible to promote exchanges at the level of its infrastructure through a network of pedestrian circuits and walkways. The presence of the Learning Centre, a branch of SATT Sud-Est and the headquarters of the KIC EIT ICT Labs on the site contribute to the continuous development of synergies between its actors - while remaining in line with the dynamics carried by the University of Côte d'Azur

Most of the teaching takes place in our dedicated rooms located on the Sophia-Antipolis campus of the University of the Côte d'Azur (divided into 2 sites: "Templars" and "Fireflies"). Students in the preparatory cycle (PeiP) follow most of the lessons on the "Fireflies" campus, the rest are done on the central "Templars" campus. There is a university canteen (university restaurant) on the latter, the Leraning Center. Off campus, students can reach shops and restaurants within a few minutes' walk.
