Supervision and promotion of physical techniques for occupational stress management University Diploma

This course fits in perfectly with current development perspectives within companies; it is viewed as an advantageous approach to preventative health which can take into account and include productivity, wellbeing and fitness. In this context, physical techniques for stress management, which are particularly noted for their effects on occupational stress, represent an effective solution to respond to the strategic challenges of sports health within companies.

The Faculty of Sports Sciences in Nice is beginning a new University Diploma "Supervision and promotion of physical techniques for occupational stress management", alongside the Human Motricity Education Sport Health Laboratory "LAMHESS".

With regard to this, the course has two main aims:

 

1. To train students to be able to supervise, from initiation-level physical stress management techniques, yoga, Tai-chi and Qi-gong as well as diverse breathing and relaxation techniques; and to design programmes which combine these activities in the aim of adapting them to the requirement of sport health in companies.


2. To train students in promotion of sport health in workplaces.

 

The Supervision and promotion of physical techniques for occupational stress management University Diploma is intended for those who have reached baccalaureate + 3 academic level (or equivalent), mainly in the areas of physical activity, health, education and human resource management.

Within the framework of continuing education, the University Diploma will be of interest to employees who wish to commit to assignments which promote occupational stress management as well as professionals working in stress management, health and sport health. 

 

It would be possible to continue studying to Master's degree level in the  Sciences and Techniques of Physical and Sports Activities "physical activity health".

Handicap Adviser University Diploma

In connection with the law "for equal rights and opportunities, participation and citizenship for disabled people" of 11th February 2005, this course aims to allow future professionals to take into account those with disabilities in their company, organisation or association.

Aims:
  • To identify and characterise the situation of disabled people from childhood to adulthood.
  • To identify and put into practice the regulatory and legislative measures concerning those with disabilities.
  • To create a civic reflection about the human, social and ethical challenges relating to disability.
  • To identify and make clear the wishes and ambitions of those with disabilities in terms of integration.
  • To guide people with disabilities towards social and professional integration.
  • To analyse and manage internal changes connected with the professional integration of people with disabilities, making sure that the questions raised by employees already in place are understood and dealt with.
